In order to register for a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be ten years old or older. You need sufficient swimming experiences and must be in good physical health. No previous experience with scuba diving is required.

SCUBA gears used

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use essential scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, regulator, fins, buoyancy control device and a tank. The gear you wear diversifies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, mild or cold water.
